BREAKING: Kentucky Sports Betting Bill Clears Legislature in Session’s Final Day

A bill that would legalize sports betting in Kentucky passed the state Senate by a 25-12 vote Thursday evening.

With that vote, House Bill 551 now heads to Gov. Andy Beshear’s desk, and the Democratic governor has repeatedly stated he would sign the bill into law.

Once Beshear signs the bill, Kentucky would be the 37th state in the US to legalize and regulate sports betting.
