New Delhi:

Genelia D’Souza’s Instagram Reels gives fans something to look forward to. She entertains us by mouthing fun dialogues and sharing bits of her personal life. In the latest video, the 33-year-old actress played the part of a disgruntled girlfriend who has been awaiting her boyfriend’s message. She called it “basic girl tantrum” and asked her fans in the caption, “Has to have happened to you at some point… Hai naaa??? (Isn’t it?)” In the clip, a male voice is heard asking, “Hi, kaisi ho? (Hi, how are you?)” To this, the actress replies, “Paagal hu…Kyunki tum phir aath ghante baad mere messages ka reply karoge aur mai aath second mei. Toh paagal hi hui na? (I’m mad…Because despite you taking eight hours to respond to my messages, I will reply to you in eight seconds. Doesn’t that make me mad?)” Genelia appears in the Reels with a fresh, bare-faced look and has her hair left open. She is wearing a pink shirt with a pair of faded jeans.

The actress’ Reels are quite popular on social media. Genelia’s recent video also left her husband, actor Riteish Deshmukh gushing. He wrote, “Am I lucky or am I lucky?” Take a look at some of her Reels.

Genelia is often joined by Riteish in these videos. Their “Happy Holi” post is a fan-favourite. The two are seen applying colours on each other and laughing. The song Sajde kiye hai lakhon from the 2010 film Khatta Meetha plays in the background. “Find your own way to make festivals special (following all Covid-19 restrictions)- even if it’s small and intimate, it’s the spirit that counts. Happy Holi,” the actress wrote.

Genelia enjoyed a successful career in South Indian films, featuring in cult favourites like Bommarillu, Boys and Santosh Subramaniam. Her first major success in Bollywood came opposite actor Imran Khan in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Genelia and Riteish, who married in 2012, have worked together in movies such as Masti and Tere Naal Love Hogaya.
