IBPS RRB 2020 Notification Details
The Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the much-awaited IBPS RRB 2020 notification. The total vacancy is around 9600+ for all the posts. In this recruitment, candidates can apply for the office assistant, officer scale I, II, and III posts. We have provided all the details about the notification here. IBPS RRB Selection Process:
- The selection process for Office assistant post includes just 2 rounds – Prelims and mains.
- For Officer Scale I – Prelims, mains, and interview.
- For Officer Scale-II & III – Single exam and interview.
The candidates have to clear each and every stage to get the provisional allotment order.

 Age Limit:
Candidates check the age limit for each post. Also, age relaxation is applicable.
- For Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager) – Above 21 years – Below 40 years.
- For Officer Scale-II (Manager)– Above 21 years – Below 32 years
- For Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)– Above 18 years – Below 30 years
- For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Between 18 years and 28 years
The basic educational qualification is a degree from a recognized University. For Office Assistant and officer scale I posts, the experience is not needed. For officer scale II and III experience is a must. Also for some posts, a specific degree is a must. To know complete details refer to the official notification.
Application Fee:
The candidates have to pay the application fee only through the online mode.
For IBPS RRB officer scale I, II, and III, the following application fee is charged.
- SC / ST / PWBD candidates – Rs.175.
- All other candidates – Rs.850.
For IBPS RRB office assistant (multipurpose), the online application fee charged is given below.
- SC / ST/ PWBD / EXSM candidates – Rs.175.
- For all other candidates – Rs.850.
Prelims Exam Pattern:
For Office Assistant and officer scale I prelims exam, the exam details are,
- Candidates have to clear both sectional and overall cut-offs.
- Negative marks for each wrong answer – 0.25
- No sectional timing.
- Total composite time duration – 45 minutes.

Mains Exam Pattern:
Here we have added the mains exam pattern of IBPS RRB office assistant posts. The mains exam pattern of Officer scale I is also mostly similar to this.
- For this exam also there is no sectional timing.
- Candidates have to clear sectional cut off and overall cut off.
- Negative marks for each wrong answer – 1/4th of marks assigned to the question.
