Pragmatic Play grows footprint in East Africa market via multi-product deal with “key operator” Rahisibet

On the eve of the launch of its latest online slot, Pragmatic Play has inked a multi-product agreement with East African operator, Rahisibet, in a deal that continues its expansion effort on the continent.

Courtesy of the agreement, the “key operator” will gain access to the Gibraltar-based online casino software provider’s slots offering, including titles such as the crime-themed, Empty the Bank, which was launched earlier this month, the wildly successful John Hunter series, and the award-winning Wolf Gold.

Multi-product offering:

Commenting on the collaboration, Chief Executive Officer for Rahisibet, Dishon Mbogo said they are pleased to announce “an exciting new partnership with Pragmatic Play, one of the leading providers in the iGaming space.”

The CEO added that they are “thrilled” to bring online casino to the East African market and “seize this tremendous opportunity ” to increase their reach while also “bolstering acquisition and improving retention.”

In addition to its collection of slot products, customers of the Burundi online casino and sports betting domain, rahisibet.com, will also have at their disposal Pragmatic Play’s live casino products, such as Mega Wheel, one of two live dealer game show-inspired hits, and ONE Blackjack, which allows a limitless number of players to get in on the action at any time while providing them with the chance to win up to 2000 times their stake, and its newest vertical, virtual sports.

Africa focus:

Declaring their focus on growing in Africa, “unwavering,” Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play used an official company press release to say they are “delighted” to announce “this important deal.”

“Expansion across this continent continues to open up exciting opportunities and we’re very eager to bring our products to Rahisibet customers.”

The deal further grows the supplier’s global footprint, with the brand improving exposure across Africa via its multi-product portfolio.

Earlier this year, the leading game content provider to the gaming industry, entered South Africa for the first time after inking a B2B partnership for multiple verticals with licensed online betting platform provider CDP Gaming Technologies for its South African brand, YesPlay.

New & soon-to-be-released:

The new partnership also follows the provider’s latest release, Book of Vikings, which launched on July 22nd just one day after announcing that it had taken its live casino titles live with UK operator 32Red in a deal that builds on the existing business relationship between the two companies.

And, as we mentioned above, Pragmatic Play is set to launch its fourth and last new title for the month of July, Chicken Drop.

The cluster pays paylines, farmyard themed game is sure to attract players with progressive and tumble features, extra spins, and a 5,000x max win. Expect the high volatility grid slot to drop on Thursday, July 29th, so be sure to keep an eye open for it!
